Hello! We're a spoken-word producer based in Exeter, delivering big dollops of live poetry events, workshops & artist support.
We put on regular gigs at Exeter Phoenix featuring local talent & line-ups from across the UK, as well a year-round program of writing & events, workshops & artists support in Exeter and across Devon.

Spork! was created by local artist Chris White in 2018 to bring accessible & fun spoken-word to the region. We're community led, are constantly trying new ideas and love working with partners in Exeter and beyond.
In the past 5 years, we've put on over 70 events, including slams competitions, haiku workshops and online gigs. We've worked with a range of partners from Newcourt Community Centre to Mothers Who Make, and have programmed drag queens, brass bands and rappers, as well as some of the best spoken-word artists in the UK and beyond, including Buddy Wakefield, Vanessa Kissule, Joelle Taylor and John Hegley.
