We're bringing a brand new night of poetry, comedy & spoken-word to Brixham. Featuring local spoken-word artists Robert Garnham and Chris White, plus an open mic.
Grab a drink, hunker down and enjoy an evening of eclectic work, from the silly to the sublime, all in the cosy setting of The Bottle Shop.
The open mic is open to all poets, storytellers, comedians, songwriters or anyone who makes words with their mouth.

At the end of the evening the audience will vote for their favourite open-micer, who will receive a Spork! Mug and a paid set at a future Spork! Show
Chris White is a poet, performer & submerging artist based in Exeter. A former Bard of Exeter & first 'Riddler in Residence' at Exeter Cathedral. He’s a multiple slam winner and in his silly, surreal way, he often talks about queerness, identity & ducks
Robert Garnham is a Torbay based comedian, poet & performer. He’s the current Bard of Exeter and is well know for his fantastically funny poems about everything from love to lighthouses & squids.

The Bottle Shop, Brixham is located on Middle Street (TQ5 8ER)
The night starts at 7.30 PM & will go on til around 9 PM
This is a FREE event, though donations are welcome on the night. All proceeds will go towards paying future artists.
